BUSHLAND

I am from South Carolina. I graduated High School from Manning High School. After high school I attended Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. 

In 2007 I received my Bachelors of Elementary Education and in 2010 I completed my Masters of Education in Instructional Accomodation. In 2019 I completed my AMA Montessori Certification for grades 1-6. 

I have attended numerous professional developments throughout my teaching career including STEM Training, PBL Training, Mentor Training, and Montessori Trainings.

I have also attended Reading conferences, STEM, and Montessori Conferences throughout the years. 

My family and I moved to Bushland in October of 2019. My husband’s job brought us on this 1,400 mile journey to the great community. Chris and I have been married since 2009 and we have two great children, JP and Hannah. They both attend school at Bushland Elementary. We also have a labador retriever, Reed, who is a big part of our family. 

When I am not teaching I love to spend time reading and sitting on the beach. We enjoy going back to SC to visit our family and friends.
