Leadership Reset and Building Your Base for Conscious Discipline-June 2023
This is my 18th year at Bushland Elementary. Currently, I serve as the Response to Intervention (RtI) and 504 Campus Coordinator and interventionist. I have taught pre-K, kindergarten, third, and fourth grades. I look forward to helping students be successful and grow their love for learning.
I am passionate about education and believe every child can learn. I am dedicated to being a lifelong learner and believe it is never too late to learn something new. I love to read and listen to podcasts which help grow me as an educator and leader. Building trusting relationships within our school family is vital, and it is imperative that all of the students in our school feel safe, loved, and valued.
I have been married to my husband, Monte, for 30 years. We are blessed with two sons, Kyler and Kendall, and we now have a beautiful daughter-in-law, Hannah! Kyler, Kendall, and Hannah graduated from Bushland High School and began their educational journey at Bushland Elementary. I feel very blessed to teach at Bushland since it has been home to us for over 22 years. As a family, we enjoy worshiping at our church, camping, riding dirt bikes, hiking, skiing, and going to the lake.
